Tribute to The Dubliners
A Night of Music and Dance
Los Stompers have been playing Irish music throughout Europe for the last 25 years, following in the footsteps of The Dubliners: legendary exponents of Irish folk song. With their new show, Tribute to The Dubliners, they pay homage to their heroes in a fun-filled musical trip to Dublin- not only the capital of Ireland, but also of Pubs and Pints!
During the concert you can expect pub favorites such as Dicey Reilly, I’ll Tell Me Ma, The Wild Rover and Whiskey in the Jar and a generous helping of jigs, polkas and reels, alongside the stories behind the songs and anecdotes from Dublin life as told by erstwhile residents Brian and Dara.
In addition, Polina and Valeria of Nuala Irish Dancers will display their skill in both soft and hard shoe dancing, this latter made world famous by the show Riverdance.
Tribute to The Dubliners is an unforgettable evening of stories, songs and dances; a stroll through the Dublin streets of a hundred years ago – its houses and pubs teeming with characters and music – in the company of Irish group Los Stompers: rightful heirs to a tradition born more than half a century ago with The Dubliners themselves.
